cruciate ligament injury?

I was seeing the physical therapist today for my knee injury. She said she suspects it’s cruciate ligament, she even did those things, pulling/pushing my right leg to see where I did feel hurt. So now she has ordered me not to run for a few weeks until I will do a x-ray and follow the guidelines of rehabilitation from the orthopaedist.

It totally sucks. But those weeks without running, I’ll powerlifting instead (well, not legs as I should not strain them) and do some photographing again, as this hobby has been put on a rest ever since I focused on running. I guess I’m gonna do a lot of walking, too. I can promise you that the day I can finally run without problems, it’s gonna be my happiest day this year.

I have no idea if I still can run Copenhagen Marathon and 1/2 marathon (Öresundsbroloppet). But it’s still not impossible, it’s all about how serious the cruciate ligament injury is and how fast I can heal the injury from doing the rehabilitation.

Never soccer again- it’s fun but I don’t ever want to spoil my passion for running with a injury caused by other sports rather than running itself.
