Bummer, an unexpected knee injury.

I feel disappointed at myself. I hope to get myself back to track and that my knee injury isn’t so serious as it feels like right now. I hope that my knee injury will heal after a few days… but I got no idea. It all depends on how it heals and in case it doesnt heal, I gotta check out what’s wrong. I hate it. I have never had any injuries caused by sports before. Never ever. That it had to happen in the last game of 4 indoors soccer games this weekend… I had a kind of blackout when the boom-smash-knee-incident happened.

I’m so disappointed. I try to be positive and I hope that I can get back to running. I believe this is the last season I’ll ever play soccer. I feel like I can’t risk it. I like playing soccer, but not as much as I love running and playing badminton. Of course, I can get a knee injury by running as well but it’s more like wearing out-injuries after a long time of running. In soccer, anything unpredictable or unexpected or unmotivated can happen, which can make it more serious in both the shorter and longer run.

Let’s hope for the best and that my marathon training isn’t over… that it’s only on a time-out-phase for a few days until I know more. I believe I’m gonna get crazy if I can’t run the next days. Gotta keep myself busy with any other form of exercising that doesn’t require much use of knees.
